I have flown Malindo Air and found them great,,great clean planes ,beautiful food(the best I have ever had on a plane)great attendants,,everything excellent and got their no problem,hiccups,strange noises or anything,,extra leg room ,,No fidgetty legs,, But my question is do you almighty one think they are safe,,please base your reply on some degree of fact,,etc

Is Malindo air as Bad as Lion?

Indonesia has been plagued by air safety “issues” for many decades, (not to mention maritime, rail and road safety). Indonesian air travel keeps growing at a rapid pace as more people can afford low-cost fares. And airlines, especially the Lion Air Group, are rushing to meet the current and future demand. Lion is currently the largest low-cost carrier in Indonesia. The much more established Garuda is aware of this. It already has its own low-cost version Citilink, (similar to QANTAS with its JetStar). In November, 2018, Garuda struck up an operational management deal with Sriwijawa and Nam.Air, (Nam Air is a sister company of Sriwijawa). Don’t get me started on all the other local airlines such as Batik, the on-again-off-again-back on? Merpati, etc. One of my two all-time favourite dodgy airlines were Nepal’s Royal Yeti Airlines and Indonesia’s Zamrud. You could buy T-shirts once upon a time which read “[I][B]Zamrud – Bemo In the Sky[/B][/I]”. I only flew once on it and it was pretty close to a flying bemo in those days. Piglets, chickens, durian, even a caged monkey, all sharing the passenger cabin. It’s also worth mentioning that [B]Malindo is owned by Lion[/B] and set up in Malaysia, (hence the name [B]Mal[/B]aysia[B]Indo[/B]nesia). And I just remembered. Wings Abadi is a subsidiary owned by Lion Air. Confused? Which airline do you [I][B]think[/B][/I] you’ll be flying with next? o_O
