Visiting in September wanting to meet up with ex-pats

Hi everyone, I am visiting in September from 15 Sept to 4th October, will be staying in Sanur for 7 days then Ubud for 5, Lovina beach for 4 and Seminyak for 2. I would love to meet up with any ex-pats and chat about what it's like to live in Bali. I'm from Adelaide, South Australia and currently working as a teacher. I 60 ish. :))

You're gonna have to come up with some better inducement, I put a picture of a villa in my Facebook profile and had hundreds of young, beautiful Indonesian women offered me anything I wanted to talk about living in Bali.

Ha Ha, that's funny, not being young, rich or beautiful I can't think of anything to induce anyone to chat with me. Rather than why not, got nothing better to do today :)

Marie, you're new on this forum. After a while, you'll be able to decide which posters are borderline insane, and the ones still working on it. I'd be happy to meet you and I don't expect cartons of beer as "payment". That's just plain stupid. I'm surprised that Markit didn't want you to pay with copious quantities of cheese. Cheese would also be good - with those little fecking crackers with seeds on them and some cold, salted butter. Ok, with cold beer and I will tell you the secrets of success in moving to Bali. Johnny will put you to sleep, but he's free :)

Hai Marie,, I am not expat yet ,but working on it ,have to organise here first ,,coming over mid aug to mid sept,,13 X visit ,,always stay in Sanur,,,could meet up if you like one day for Makan Siang,,and love a Bintang,,, David

Just realised dates i arrive 15 aug but gone back to oz on the 13th sept..never mind next coming back in december..one month..there are some Nice people on this forum..
