I don't know if it is just me, but the Eid al-Fitr holiday seems very long this year.
It just seems crazy that the country can go on holidays for such a long time. I am talking about banks/government offices here.
I am expecting some money to be sent from overseas and I guess it won't hit my account until the 21st. I had no idea that it required some kind of human intervention. I thought there would be at least some people in the back office working during this time. If the banks are collecting interest on the backlog of overseas payments then it must be a bit of an extra windfall for them.
As if Bali doesn't have enough holidays already.

Im pretty sure if you count all the Hindu holidays per year that they far outnumber the Islamic ones,may seem long because its all at one time compared to one or two per week on the other side,you need to plan ahead,get your transactions done before the holidays,
