Which Visa do I apply for to stay 6 months in Bali

Hi ,,eventually I would like to retire in Bali,,but at the moment just would like a visa to stay 6 months,,not working,,which one do I apply for,, Thanks Dave

You would use a Social - Cultural Visa - good for 60 days and extendable 4 times for 30 days, each while you stay in Indonesia. (Does not support multiple entry, therefore, if you plan on leaving during the 6 months, this is not likely the one for you.) Also, you must get this one from an Indonesian consulate prior to arriving in Indonesia. (Singapore is a popular one, we are getting ours in Hong Kong, but you need a HK ID in order to do it here.)
