“Urug” is in West Java. I [I]think[/I] that the OP wants to buy 8 are of land there. With a “wall” around it. Stuffed if I know why he’s asking us in Bali. As it happens, I’ve been through there (it’s South of Tasikmalaya). Nothing more to add right now...unless "Jakidass" explains further. :(

They used to hold courses for Bahasa Ayams in BATS club in Jakarta......I believe they were called (inter) courses..... but I haven't been there for a while....;) Johnny...you're from Sanur..... surely there must be many talkative Ayam2 there....:D

apologies all. i thought the original message was posted. i was looking to lay soil on top a plot of land in Lovina about 8are and build a wall around it. i was hoping for anyone who might know the cost. cheers

just an example...like these word problems in mathematic :) In a perfect world (or math) you can solve this. Here on Bali you have plenty of "equations with unknown" Like : how many money will the banjar, government charge you extra because you are a bule ? How much the neighbors want from you for the signature on the IMB application? Is there a temple nearby who needs an expensive cleansing ceremony because of your plan to build a wall? Has the Kelian a brother who sells soil (cost double of course) and he demands you to buy from him? Do you need to hire workers from the neighborhood and if not how much do you have to pay per head extra to the neighborhood for java workers? etc etc why the chicken crossed the road? because it couldn't build a wall on the other side :)

I agree with most of what you say. However, a Balinese temple is not a real person (or is it?) I’ve never seen any chickens anywhere in my whole life that build walls. Maybe your chicken crossing the road had a choice: Get run down by a motorbike/truck/bus, or escape from those who want to turn him/her into satay. I’ve never really considered chickens as “thinking” animals, but I’m probably wrong. Know of any courses for Bahasa Ayam? Apart from “word mathematic”, have you ever asked somebody what is the square root of minus one? Answer: "[SIZE=5][B]i[/B][/SIZE]" It’s an imaginary number that’s helped the whole world including electronics, engineering, the Moon landings, etc. So, has “Peter” found a solution regarding the cost of building a wall around his plot of dirt? :)
