Ok, I was gonna stop at the first one but this is getting too fecking weird even for me: [h=1]Different Strokes Apply in Bali[/h] [h=2]Pendawa Beach Visitors in Bali Reminded that Sexual Activity and Swimming While Menstruating(in the fecking ocean) are Strictly Not Allowed[/h]

http://www.balidiscovery.com/images/955/detiktravel-haid.jpg[/IMG]

(12/20/2014) Travel.detik.com reports that Pandawa Beach on the southernmost part of Bali continues to be something of a trailblazer in devising ways to ensure visitors do not offend local custom and religious practice. A trailblazer? just let that sentence gently dissolve on your tongue. Located in the village of Kutuh, about 45 minutes from Bali's airport traveling via Jimbaran, Pandawa beach is becoming increasingly popular with Bali visitors. The non-menstruating type, I'de guess? The local community surrounding the beach is earning praise from tourism officials in Bali for strictly enforcing rules to ensure local sensibilities are not disturbed. They are "earning praise from tourism officials" - WTF?Local officials, partly in deference to the many religious temples in the area, warn beach users to refrain from any kind of sexual activity that would render the area spiritually unclean. (could someone point out to these idiots that the only thing that makes their place "spiritual" is that there are people that believe their Bull-taco and if it weren't for "sexual activity" there wouldn't be any!) Seeking to further protect the sanctity of the area, officials have also now posted signs reminding women experiencing menstruation not to swim in waters surrounding the village. Umm this is an ocean we are talkign about here or? - bordering the entire fecking world and hey! half the population menstruates don't they?Provincial tourism officials are pointing to Pandawa Beach as an example of how local communities should manage their tourism areas. If they don't want any tourists, for sure!Prohibitions against sexual acts on beaches or menstruating women swimming in the ocean apply in virtually every area of Bali. However, only the villagers at Pandawa Beach have taken firm action to ensure these guidelines are respected by tourism visitors. They doing body checks? Girls where are you when all this Bullshete is going down???
