Can anyone recommend a surveying company they have used? I want to do a topographical survey on a small (5 are) plot West Bali. How much did they charge per are? Thanks

The land registration agency BPN can do it.

BPN came but only can do corner pegs
Told me I need to get architect or another surveyor to do topographical (contour) survey

Hey Rob. For a property north of Ubud we used a Denpasar-based company called Nusa Bagoes Survey. The principal was a guy named I Gede Puspayana. Six years ago we paid 3 juta for a topographical survey of a sloping parcel of nearly 50 are (though I don't believe the job was priced by the are, as such). In any case, they did the work efficiently and professionally, and delivered the final product in CAD format on a disc.

No you don’t need a topographical survey before applying. My block is steeply sloping and I wanted to make sure I could build a house on it before I bought it. I needed the 3d survey to show the engineer, that’ the reason why. I understand that when you buy the land the land dept will send someone out to marke the boundary pegs. The surveyor put those in when he did the 3 d survey included in the price.
