Hi guys - apologies as I'm sure this has been asked a million times :)
I am a 53 yo guy from the UK and looking to visit Bali when I finish working in 2 months, I am planning to visit on the extendable visa system and just see what happens - it will be my first time in Bali and I need some advice on where to stay at least initially
I enjoy exercise, water sports, walking and trekking so it would be good to be close to a beach
I also like a beer at weekends and it would be good to be somewhere a bit lively hopefuly with some live music but not too raucous or loud - I don't need top class dining as simple is good for me
I've been reading online and I think Kuta might be a bit too lively for me and Sanur a bit too quiet - any advice would be welcomed
Also I have been looking on airbnb for apartments and there seems to be options available with a price of 15-20 USD per night - is this realistic and is airbnb a good choice?
with thanks Jonn
