Bali's plastic pollution?

So none of us are happy about the increasing levels of plastic pollution invading Bali's once lovely beaches. Hey, that isn't plastic pollution. This is plastic pollution. Yes, it is a very sad situation. As it says in the article it needs to be addressed globally. Packaging manufacturers would be a good place to start. It would be good if as much resources could be put into this as is being down with climate change.

Only way to resolve this is a world wide ban on plastic,when you go shopping in certain European stores they don't give you plastic bags period,you either bring your own bag or you have to buy a bag, I remember as a kid everyone brought their own bag when going shopping, I'm sure many of you recall when you bought a bottle of soda back then it was always a glass bottle, Go into any hypermart or ace or whatever and the amount of plastic items for sale from containers to store food to furniture ,its frightening,and frankly they are rubbish,they don't last, There is a need for plastic in certain cases,im no expert but I think some prosthetic items are made from plastic,replacement hips etc,who needs a house full of plastic boxes,containers and furniture,it doesn't even look good,what did the world use before the discovery of plastic ?? I don't have the answer but whatever it was let's go back to that, This is not just an Indonesian problem,its a world problems,
