Mixed Children and their Celebrity potential

We all know the Celebrity potential of Eurasian children, ( Indo ). There seems quite a few on the tv dramas, comedy and singing shows , I should say after they become mainly young adults. Their earning potential I imagine is or could be extreme, I guess this also depends which side of the fence one bats for too. The lighter the skin the more power one has it seems. Do they really need much talent or simply rely on their Indo looks. One also has to consider the stress factor of being a Indo celebrity. When We visit Indonesia ny son receives a lot of attention, I don't intend for him to get to celebrity status but his natural mix seems to attract attention. He is tall and will be when he matures, over 6ft. If he follows in my foot steps he will have a interest in the arts. I wonder how would we protect him from gaining too much attention so to speak. We would prefer him to complete university and then pursue his chosen career. He is interested in singing may I add. I am sure other parents of Indo children have had concerns about this as well so How do they feel about this thing named Celebrity and how to protect your children , as they can be very impressionable. T.

You do know that most so called celebrities are druggies, alcoholics, perverts and pill popping degenerates. Wtf do you wish this s*** on your kid? Celebrities are clowns. Sad, pathetic puppets on a string. You think Bollywood etc. is any better than pervert infested Hollywood? Think again! Get him the best education you can afford and what ever you do, don't be one of those helicopter parent, constantly hovering above his precious snowflake to be. If he gets his ass kicked, it's good for him. :)

Gday, Oh how I agree with you about life choices if a lit of celebrities overseas and here in Indo. Yes a good western education is a must . What my main concern is the attention he already receives just by being a Indo child. One can only protect him so much and as I have mentioned Arts run in the family so he is I think will follow the family tradition naturally, in the blood so to speak. Well lets wait and see. If we choose to educate him in Indo well his Indo aura will surround him as it does other Indo youngsters, I don't think there's much I could do to stop this attention from his fellow peers, so maybe ad I have chosen him to be educated outside of Indo, who knows he may choose a Journalists career and star on the nightly news segment in Indo.Or a Dr with his own medical show . I wouldn't want to encourage him to act like those perverts in Bling City. Hetes to a masters degree in ........? T.

Gods, as plural... ;) As I grew up in a atheist country and later realised that Buddhist (Nyingma) lifestyle (view of the world etc) seems something natural, the consept of God or Gods has never really made any sense to me. But this is just me. Stick to what ever keeps you good and honest.

Same in Thailand....every Thai mother married to a "farang" dreams about her kids becoming movie star or soap opera star.. Include my ex Thai wife. My 3 kids being Western brought up never had any interest in it to the great despair of their mother. Anyway I would have stopped it immediately. One is now in the Army in France, one training for chef and one entering UNI in computer science...
