Hi Pris and welcome to the forum. I wish I'd recco'd Sanur before settling in Kerobokan. Years ago Sanur was so sleepy they called it Snore...but today it's more vibrant but still suited to an adult life-style.

In Sanur since 4 months and so far suits our "pensioners livestyle" very well. Quiete, but plenty nice restaurants around and even some music places. Kuta area way too wild, artificial and traffic is a nightmare. Ok to spend a day, but after that back to the old men town....

If I ever move here permanently, I wanna see ocean from my front yard, be surrounded by palm trees and perhaps see few rice fields in the distance. City? Town? No f'n way! And I want my f'n nasi goreng spicy hot (at least this is what I think now) lol :) Man can dream, or what!
