Servus und Hallo!Ich bin eben nach Candidasa umgesiedelt und wollte hier mal nachfragen, ob jemand von euch einen guten Tipp hat fur gunstiges Wohnen in Candidasa? Mir schwebt eine Wohnung bzw. ein Haus mit 2-3 Schlafzimmern vor, aber nicht schickie-mickie, sondern ehrlich, sauber, sicher und bezahlbar. Ideal wre mbliert und mit A/C.Hat jemand einen Tipp fur mich?

Hey Maxi I'm gonna answer in English as I can't be assed to do it in German. Cheap housing is possible but that depends upon what your definition of Cheap is and where you want to live. Downtown Candi Dasa is expensive and as with all possible places you will have to go there yourself and ask around - bang on doors. I would try the BTN (government housing off the main road towards Tenganan 100m on the right - also ask at the German Bakery which also there).

Hi Markit! Thanks a million for your reply and tipps. The bakery was helpful, i think. I also started spreading the word, making contacts and asking around.Having visited some houses, however, i agree that it's hard to find a decent place at reasonable costs. But i'll get there! :)Should you hear of any suitable house, please do let me know. Cheers!
