What is the point of hanging it/them in trees? I'm trying, without much success to grow coriander, which is supposed to do really well in tropical climates. It doesn't - I'm now on my 2nd or 3rd pack of seeds (UK) and down to 2 miserable looking plants that are only hanging on to depress me. I've moved from - in the ground, to - in pots/plastic bags - to special soils with fertilizer. What really pisses me off is it can be bought in Hardys in Sanur so I know they fecking grow it here somewhere (presume Kintamani). Any tips (other than "buy it in Sanur" welcome). Markit

I have bought coriander plants at the candikuning market and all died pretty quickly, so I guess it needs cooler climates. I tried growing pumpkin from seeds and it grew like crazy but no pumpkins. Our neighbor took some seeds and threw them in the vacant lot next to them and had quite a few good size pumpkins.

I am the mint killing champion of the world.Looks like it may be time to throw it into some ceramic pots and hang from a tree.We have basil, turmeric, galanagal, rosemary, onions, tomatoes, chilies and about 73 million cucumbers growing but mint just does not want to happen here.I do not have a cheese tree but my fridge just seems to fill up with it. Currently have blue vein, double brie, camembert, also a number of cream cheeses (garlic and chives, melon and mango, jalepeno plus also something named black forest). No mint in there however. The meat section is coming along fine with 10 kilo of lamb chops, cacciatore sausage, garlic German mettwurst and a whole heap of pork ribs. There are chicken breasts and some sausage named double smoked kransky. Goodness me there is even black puddingThere are 5 crates of Kilkenny, 3 crates of Stark, two different types of cider, about 35 bottles of wine plus the usual 10 crates of Bintang.Sadly there is no damn mint.I even have the Bacardi to make a mojito but once again no bloody mint.

Nothing to do with herb growing, but where did you get the mettwurst?
