Teddybear wrotesoooo true, yet when i visit Bali,Indo I always have a packet of gastrostop within easy reach, these have reduced discomfort many times, Bali is nice in its own way as is Cairns. We rented a unit for A$250pwk , One can also receive a Centrelink rental subsidy so its even cheaper, families $80 per week, making it $170pwk, 2 bedroom unit. Then there's these things called Medicare and law and order. Crime is everywhere even in Bali, definetly cheaper in Bali but you get what you pay for, My favourite thing about Indo is the piles of rubbish anywhere at any time, also in Oz but at least you can do something about it, ooh I do sound negative sorry , enjoy Bali and the rest of Indo, I like Singapore too, actually i would love to live there T.
oops i meant burning piles of rubbish, namely plastics. I am slowly starting to understand Bali, cheap holiday if you want to rough it, cheap food if you want to risk it, free visas,take a small rake , to clear the rubbish on the beach to put down your towel or chair, be careful where you step on the beach, landmines, taxis with no aircon, sleepy taxi drivers, like anywhere if you pay people are friendly and did I mention its TROPICAL. That word alone makes it worth while if you come from a freezing winter with ice and snow. But I find tropical weather just zaps me into a couch potato only moving to the pool and back.ooh I am sounding negative again sorry I am getting older and less tolerant of non luxuries but if I was a young foal again Bali is something one should experience.
