Hello there,Looking for basic equipment such as drip irrigation kits, water timers, sprinklers, ...I've been looking around places such as Ace Hardware, Mitra 10, Depo Bangunan but found only basic hoses.Any idea ?
Tudeo
I bought all this stuff at Ace. I used the flat dripping hose, that works great, for about 2 weeks.. After that the little holes get filled with dirt from the water. I'm back to manual for the bougainvillea on top of the walls. The lawn springler works good though, allready more then 1 year with no problems.

Why don't you just get Wayan? Pretty dependable in my experience, runs on rice and is pretty economical.

Maybe this might help if you live close to the Bukit. I was walking throu the BTDC areas last week where they have lots of automated watering systems of one kind or another, and noticed a truck there with RAINBIRD on the side....Rainbird are big manufacturers of garden /water wise equipment. Think the staff were doing some maintenance. Anyway a call to the office of the BTDC...located on the same side of the road as the new Bali International Hospital, and almost opposite Bali Collections, they may be able to help. Also most of the big hotels have watering systems so maybe if you can see their head garden guru, he could also give you some advice. We do have a Wayan..well its a Made actually and he is priceless, but we have purchased most of our garden stuff from Bunnings in Aust and ferried it across each time someone comes to stay with us! Have sourced some things throu Ace and our local hardware shop, but its very limited.....try buying a brass garden tap 3/4 inch here.....impossible! Best of luck. If you do get a contact or address for Rainbird, can you please let us know! Thanks

ok...great...do they have a retail outlet anywhere?
zivva
No retail outlet. The Rain Bird distributor is based in Java but he is super reactive to emails & can send stuff to Bali.He does not sell the home owner range of products (only professional range, for hotels & golf courses ...) but he got Australian alternatives for small / medium scale drip irrigation.
