harryopal Hate to think of all the poor people caught up in the chaos of cancelled flights, missing connecting flights and all the other problems. Not to mention the impact upon so many people whose day to day income is dependent on tourism. Asking about mundane things such as furniture feels a bit like walking through a refugee camp and asking where I can buy an icy pole. That said, back to the tiresome business of where to look for furniture around Jimbaran. After months in limbo waiting for Kitas and considering possible accomodation from Singaraja to Padang Bai , Saba and other areas I have finally compromised to take into account my wife's desire to be close to sisters and a daughter in the Jimbaran area. By a fluke I found a place today that is away from the traffic, a quite area with an upstairs platform facing west to get the sea breezes and not a bad price. It is unfurnished. I personally don't mind used furniture. I accept my wife's insistence upon new mattresses and new not used electrical appliances such as TV and refrigerator. I would be most grateful to be pointed in likely directions to fit out a 2 bedroom house with the usual stuff. Thanks in anticipation of helpful responses.
