Cancellations starting to happen

It seems like Virgin have started cancelling flights to Bali. Do you love insurance companies... In some cases people can't use their insurance to cancel their holiday because the insurance company says it is "safe" to fly, while at the same time most insurance companies won't give coverage now because of the possible eruption. yap , I expected the travel insurance companies to start giving problems with cover for the travelers , the crunch comes when they declare plane insurance invalid , then this place will be like a ghost town.

Sorry, I shouldn't be posting stuff from FB. Should have known better. I have a flight booked with Virigin for Christmas, so was worrying about it getting cancelled. My wife got her visa in just over a week. I think if there is a problem with ash cloud we might just have to leave later, which I believe Virgin is allowing people to do.

Sorry spicy but where are you getting this information from. I've been attending to what is happening at the airport and haven't heard of any cancellations so far....at least not because of the volcano. Virgin still flies, but they do a stopover in Darwin to fill up the plane in case they have to turn around. My girlfriend is in the air right now ;)
