Is this being unfaithful?

I see there are many other contributors to ForumExpat Indo also active with Balipod. I usually have a vague feeling of being unfaithful as a user of both sites but check them both out nonetheless. I do have some concerns for Balipod which seems to be slipping in terms of the number of posts yet feel that the focus on Bali is particularly useful. How to lift the level of contributions?

During my couple of years on here , ya it has been a bit quiet , but it is bali focused which is a plus , of course contributions depend on the membership, .

I check in here every day, but as I live in Perth and come here to learn I may not have much to contribute.

That's OK G_P..... whatever comes to mind just jot it here and get a response, an answer, an argument, a few signs, a friend..... but never a pie in the face.... :D

I've also noticed the decline in contributions but believe it's because we have less vitriolic posts. Personally...I'd rather have a quieter forum and enjoy whatever useful and interesting contributions members make than the previous unpleasantness....especially when applied to newcomers. Balipod is, and should be, more focused on what goes on in Bali rather than compete with other Indonesian forums. Sometimes, like Harryopal, I also wonder if being a member of both this and ExpatIndo is controversial but have trusted that they both serve different functions and don't overlap. I even copy from one to the other anything of specific interest but always identify the source. Forums are not Facebook or Twitter accounts....they provide a social service for information sharing and discussion and.....so long as an argument is in a cordial and courteous manner....can also enjoy lively debate. I pledge to post anything of interest I find with specific respect to Bali Expats and hope others will do the same. edit: I'd enjoy reading funny anecdotes...I'm sure we can all enjoy reading anything amusing.
