High waves, dark clouds and the sun sets behind the mountains and not in the sea. My sampan was for myself this time, not even the birds were there. Tired from the forum change this night. Went to Gloria this morning, gave her all the floppies with the pictures that Ketut ans Simon had scanned. Burned them on CD for her, floppies have a short life here on Bali. Saw Gus from Villa Agung this afternoon, convinced him to buy a new PC. His hotel was full last night !?, there is hope. Eny the girl from the warung here in Pemaron has been to Gloria's dokter twice now and her infected eye seems much better.Yesterday I went to a meeting of the BRA, where Beate and her husband "Nana" from Warung Bamboo were a very inspired couple. The garbage project they run in Pemaron seems a succes, and they put up a real fight against the plans of the PLTGU to build a powerplant here in Lovina. 16 januari they will give more information, together with an engineer, explaining all the techical details. Imagine an oiltanker, bringing 7000 tons of crude oil EVERY WEEK to lovina to run a powerplant. Imagine one sinking here. Hope to help them with putting stuff on the net somewhere, already put some demonstration pictures on http://www.bali-pictures.comHad to go early from the meeting, cause I had a date with a nurse, Komang, I met when I did my livertests. Bought Nasi Kuning for us and some of her friends. Her mother already sees us married. We played Bali Karaoke songs, even the 2 year old baby from her sister hummed with us.Looking forward to a shipment from amazon. To the hotsprings and further west with Komang tomorrow.

Must be some 'clever'moneyhungry local city council officials planning that monstrosity I bet. As in our environmental thread here somewhere (which unfortunately died (?), I think Plasma is the best solution, as it feeds itself and leaves useful material.
