Someone working in the medical field or with contacts in medical field

hello all I am from Philippines. I am looking for someone who is working in the Indonesian health sector or has contacts in the field. I am hoping to find Indonesian doctors who are looking to get accepted into residency/specialization in hospitals in Manila. So, basically I am looking for business partner who has contacts for what i need. So, if you are interested, lets talk in detail.

Interesting. How is the medical care there in the Philippines? Why do you think an Indonesian doctor would want to work in the Philippines? Have you tried contacting doctors directly? Or post an advertisement on a job board? Or contacting medical universities?

It usually works like this. Any doctor who want to train in residency or do their specialization, pays the hospital a certain amount for the residency slot. i would say the medical care provided here is decent but the private hospital provide high standard of care since they are very expensive in compared to the Government ones. I would have contacted doctors directly if I had any contacts in Indonesia hence the reason for looking for a local Indonesian with knowledge about the field.

My understanding is that just like in Indonesia, it is extremely difficult for foreign doctors to practice in the Philippines, so I am a bit puzzled by your post. If I'm wrong, then don't recruit in Indonesia as we don't have enough doctors already. Go to India instead, where doctors are a dime a dozen.

It is true it's difficult for foreign doctors to work in Philippines. Same can be said for any other country in the region. I am not recruiting for a paid job in Philippines. Its more like they are further continuing their study in Philippines once they are done they will and have to go back and work in Indonesia. Its same as students going to study abroad for higher education except in this case they will work in a university hospital and once their study is finished they go back to their respective countries.

I can imagine if doctors want to do such a program, they would perhaps be more likely to head to Malaysia or Singapore, which have great reputations for their medical care. Language would also be less of an issue. You probably won't get anyone from this site. As I said, it would be better to contact universities directly here.

Ok understood. Indonesia certainly does need more specialist doctors, however you should confirm with the medical authorities in Indonesia whether an Indonesian doctor who takes up an unpaid medical residency in the Philippines will get professional 'credit' for that when he/she returns to practice in Indonesia. Otherwise it seems somewhat pointless. Btw, I also think it's a huge ask if you will be requesting Indonesian doctors to fund their own lifestyle and pay for their residency in the Philippines.
