I came on a holiday shortly after the 2nd bombing and stayed in the Conrad in a 2-bed suite where I'd step into the lagoon pool from my verandah...I recall the rate was like US$50 per night.
I should have bought a bunch of villas that I saw were for sale...I could be the richest guy in the pub if I'd had that foresight.
