Freya needs a home urgently

We have helped BAWA foster many puppies in the same way and have coordinated and assisted during sterilization clinics. We know dogs and we know how to treat people. I'm afraid you would never pass the screening to become Freya's new owner. Thank you for the offer anyway.

They are absolutely correct in their assessment that a dog will attach to its new owner without any problems. It is not going to slip into depression and take to drinking in the mornings. Give these people a break.

My opinion is that all of you who insist on insulting the op really need to go back to his original post,and read from there,he clearly states that they rescued the dog,also states that they are on holiday,and most important the member who offered to give the dog a home first insulted the op,by saying that he couldn't understand why any one would take a dog just for holiday entertainment,read the post ,they RESCUED the dog,what part of Rescued do all of you not understand,instead of trying to learn the Indonesian language it might be a good idea to start with learning how to read the English language first,and stop with all the nasty stuff,if someone wants to take the dog do so without accusing the people who did the decent thing for the dog in the beginning of doing the wrong thing,

Update: Just saw a post on the Ubud Community FB page, and apparently the arrangement to place this dog fell through and they are now desperately trying to find a new home for her in two days as they leave Bali on Sunday. Too bad there are like a hundred other dogs for adoption on that site. They should have taken you up on your kind offer hadodi...

Sometimes it seems like half of all social media here in Bali is centered around lost/sick/funny/homeless/injured/upkeep/reward for dogs. I really wonder what we would all be chatting about if not for the dogs? On a lighter note I talked with some travelers that have been coming to Bali since the early 80s and their opinion is that hands down the dog "problem" is much, much better now than it ever was. I agree - the film maker would have trouble doing his "Island of the Dogs" film now as there really aren't many around. Thankfully!

They just disgust me. Offering to their gods several times a day, spending huge amount of money to compete with neighbours house temple, thats their REAL character.

If you blow up the picture of the RW Mobil delivery and look at the sign you can see the shade of the letter M [B]through[/B] the elastic band covering it! Total Photoshop! Shame, shame, shame on the ABC "News" and I use that term loosely... And if the picture was bonafide how did they remove "Telepon Pak Made" telephone number from the picture and leave the contents of the plastic carryall behind it? Because it was placed later over the original picture.

I agree that this is just another media beat-up. Why aren't they getting all concerned about Australians eating Skippy and the Easter Bunny? I doubt very much that dog is being offered to tourists unless they specifically ask for it, and you would have to look hard to find such a restaurant. The people who like to eat dog in Bali regard it as a delicacy so it is hardly likely to be substituted for pork or chicken. The mobile dog satay picture is a joke. The photoshopper picked Lassie as his/her victim - how quaint. I'll be back in Bali tomorrow. Looking forward to some satay. Here Fido, good dog.....

Modern computer video editing allows you to modify one frame and then signify that that area and modification should be carried automatically through the sequence. Easy peasy! Believe [I][B]nothing[/B][/I] you read or see on video - unless it's on Balipod.

I can't tell if you seriously believe that the video was doctored or not. By the way, I've got some doubts about the Moon landings. Could you check it out for me?
