I'm beginning to understand why most people on the island never go anywhere but their front yards or maybe the pub. I've been trying for three years to see the fecking Arts Festival parade and this year I planned it down to the very last detail - Where is it being held? X (check)What time is it starting? XGet a good spot. XArrive on time? XPee first - wife? XSun glasses and hat? XBatteries for the camera? XAll the above CHECK. Now we're ready to enjoy this Niagara/Avalanche/Cornucopia of prime Indonesian/Balinese Culture....[B]Bambang Yudhoyono couldn't make it on Saturday so decided to come a day earlier on Friday instead. They had the parade a [COLOR=#ff0000]day early[/COLOR] and didn't bother to tell me!!![/B]

Sob, sob - especially to Ubud to see/support a band I really enjoy doing there first(ish) gig in Le Zat on Monday night [COLOR=#ff0000]Band cancelled![/COLOR]- went and got drunk instead.
