I have been advised by the Australian government that the information in this thread has been outdated and this is the current status. =========================== I regret to advise that Indonesia is not an approved country for the purposes of importing dogs and cats to Australia so it is not possible to import a dog or cat from there directly to Australia – they need to travel via an approved country where various tests, treatments and examinations need to be completed prior to export to Australia. Thanks for the update, admin but the guide is very confusing. In both the links, they post: "This guide provides one option available for exporters in non-approved countries. Other options are:

I couldn't find a list of Group 2 or Group 3 countries, on the site, so it's difficult for people to know where to move their animal for export.
