You may have heard the saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"... now this is one of my best friends in Bali.. small gecko (cicak in balinese)

and this is the enemy... mosquito (legu in balinese)

usually after rain at night these fantastic musicians come out and show off all they got.. the frog or small toad (ketek in balinese)

none of you could ever have missed to overhear this little house-mouse (cerurut in balinese) which produces a very nice high-pitch squeeky noise. usually only seen briefly as it runs really really fast along walls for fast escapes.

now at rare occassions depending on where in bali you might come by these.. probably a fruit-scorpion. This little newborn was found on our bathroom wall.

and of course.. the dogs (kuluk in balinese), here's a moment of "ey dad.. i had enough fun already.. enough is enough!".

now this is a stray-dog proving that a dogs-life doesn't always have to be a dogs life...

one of the most rare and hard-to-get photographs for me as a photographer. . a nightshot of the rare endangered small balinese night-owl. hard to find.. and really hard to shoot. (kedis hantu or celepuk in balinese)

Hope you enjoyed watching them as much as i had taking them.
