Talking about child sex offenders some good news.
Project Karma has met with KPPA to finialise agreements for KPPA's role in our Sentinel Project in Bali.
KPPA is a respected child protection, welfare and legal advocacy in Karangasem and will play an important role in providing legal services to child victims rescued under the Sentinel Project and shelter/welfare services to child victims unable to be repatriated. In order to cope with the expected demand once the Sentinel Project is commenced in conjunction with local civil police (Pecalang and Jaga Baya) KPPA has commenced construction of a new building to house another 15 beds. These beds will add capacity to existing services and be available for victims rescued under Project Karma's Sentinel Project. Our organisation will in turn assist with funding to ensure construction is completed as quickly as possible.
We are excited to see this new development and look forward to a productive partnership in Bali with KPPA.
