More Flights from Adelaide to Bali with Jetstar

According to reporting from Australia’s 7 News, Jetstar will add two new aircraft from Adelaide to Bali starting Friday, July 21, which will mean an additional 58,000 extra seats on the route annually.

The “longer-range NEO” planes were announced for Adelaide earlier this year and arrived at the city’s airport on Thursday, say 7 News, adding that the additional seats have also brought down airfares from Adelaide to Bali to AUD 200 for select travel dates, a company spokesperson said.

One of the planes, the A321neo LR, is being touted as Jetstar’s newest and most fuel-efficient aircraft with 46-more seats compared to the Airbus A320, which currently flies the route with a quieter cabin, wider seats, bigger overhead bins, in-flight USB charging and seat-back device holders.

Jetstar Group CEO, Stephanie Tully, said the additional new aircraft would allow Jetstar to fly over 250,000 customers a year between Adelaide and Denpasar, report 7 News.

“Bali has always been Jetstar’s most popular international destination, and it’s not hard to see why with its beautiful beaches, delicious food, friendly locals, affordability, and proximity to Australia,” she said.
