Google: Bali is 2023’s Most Popular Honeymoon Destination

According to reporting from Tempo, Bali was the most popular honeymoon destination throughout 2023 as per Google’s Year in Search report. The report said that honeymooners opted for luxury getaways this year, including beachfronts and city escapes, with Bali as the number one trending destination.

Known as the Island of the Gods, Bali offers an ideal location for newlyweds with its beautiful beaches, tranquil rice terraces, and photogenic landscapes. Bali is also a heaven for food lovers and outdoor activity enthusiasts. Bali’s tens of thousands of Hindu temples with scenic nature in the background also provide visitors with a calm, pure and mystical beauty, report Tempo

Second to Bali was Scotland, which offers a completely different

but equally fantastic vibe with its rolling hills, majestic shorelines, and warm drinking culture.

Tempo says that Bali and Scotland are followed by the French Riviera; a domestic spot in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; an island getaway in Saint Lucia; the entire, ever-romantic nation of France; the adventure-lover’s dream of the Galápagos Islands; the fun-loving getaway to Las Vegas; a far-flung escape to Zanzibar; and a tapas dream in Spain.

Meanwhile, the popular dream wedding destination according to Google Search is Italy’s Lake Como, followed by Tulum and Cancun in Mexico, and then Bali.
