President Inaugurates Madukoro Flyover in Central Java

According to a press release published on the website of The President of The Republic of Indonesia, President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the Madukoro Flyover in Semarang City, Central Java Province, on Wednesday (11/12/24.) This strategic infrastructure is expected to smooth traffic flow, improve connectivity, and become the main driver of economic development in Semarang City and Central Java.

“Alhamdulillah, on this happy day we all gather to inaugurate one of the important infrastructures, namely the Madukoro Flyover in Semarang City. We understand that infrastructure is important to open connectivity, smooth traffic flow, thus spurring economic development,” said President Prabowo in his speech.

President Prabowo also emphasized that infrastructure development must always prioritize the interests of the people. This is important considering that the source of funding for its development comes from public money.

“We must know that this infrastructure is built with public money. I remind you for the umpteenth time that every rupiah of public money must be used, used as much as possible for the benefit of the people,” he said.

On that occasion, President Prabowo also gave appreciation to the parties involved in the construction of the flyover. President Prabowo requested that all construction carried out have good specifications and quality.

“Give your best so that the capabilities of the state and nation can be felt to the greatest extent by our people,” said President Prabowo.

Madukoro Flyover is designed to reduce congestion in one of the most densely populated areas in Semarang City, while strengthening access between regions. This infrastructure is seen as part of the government’s major steps in realizing better connectivity in Central Java.

“Hopefully this infrastructure, this facility, will be beneficial and useful not only for the people of Semarang, but also for all the people of Central Java,” said President Prabowo closing his remarks.

With the inauguration of the Madukoro Flyover, the government has once again demonstrated its commitment to providing quality infrastructure that can support economic growth and improve public welfare.

Also present at the inauguration were Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Acting Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana, and Mayor of Semarang Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu.
