Fly Jetpets Launches Pet Travel Service From Dubai

According to reporting from Tempo, Indonesian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Husin Bagis inaugurated the launch of Fly JetPets in collaboration with the global private jet aviation company Jetex at Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai, on Thursday (24/10/24.)

Fly JetPets is an air travel service designed specifically for pet owners that offers comfort, luxury, and premium services for both pets and their owners.

“This partnership will be a new milestone in the Indonesia-UAE bilateral cooperation framework, especially in the business sector,” said Husin Bagis in a written statement received by Tempo on Friday (25/10/24.)

Founder and CEO of Fly JetPets, Gunawan Wahab, stated that this service will meet the growing demand for convenient and comfortable pet travel. He mentioned that Fly JetPets will place pets together with their owners in the private jet cabin. “Unlike usual commercial flights where pets are often placed in cargo compartments,” Gunawan said.

Fly JetPets also offers tailored solutions to meet customer needs, from flight planning to post-arrival support services. By leveraging Jetex‘s global network, Fly JetPets provides flexibility to meet requests to nearly all destinations worldwide, says Tempo.

“One of the biggest challenges in traveling with pets is dealing with the complex pet travel documents, and Fly JetPets helps in handling these processes so customers can enjoy a smoother journey,” he said.

In addition, Fly JetPets offers concierge services, including pet-friendly accommodation reservations upon arrival to the respective destinations. This service includes restaurant reservations and various other requests.

“We are delighted to partner with Jetex to introduce Fly JetPets. This collaboration allows us to provide the best service to pet owners who seek convenience and comfort for themselves and their pets,” he added.

Tempo reports that in this collaboration, Jetex will contribute to providing access to private terminals, flight operational support, and ground handling to ensure customer travel worldwide.
