MotoGP Stars Parade Through Mataram

Antara News is reporting that a parade of MotoGP racers on several arterial roads in Mataram drew large crowds on Wednesday (25/9/24,) including Francesco Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Fabio Quartararo, Jorge Martin, Enea Bastianini, Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli, Maverick Vinales, Alex Rins, and Indonesia’s own Moto2 racer, Mario Aji.

Held to promote the Mandalika Grand Prix, scheduled for September 27 to 29, the racers rode in special cars from Sangkareang Field to Udayana Terrace, waving to spectators lining the streets.

At the final stop, the multinational racers took the stage to greet fans eagerly awaiting their arrival.

According to Antara News, NTB’s acting governor, Hassanudin, praised local residents for their enthusiastic support.

“I’m thrilled to see the community’s excitement in backing and ensuring the success of this event,” he said, expressing optimism that the upcoming Mandalika MotoGP would make Indonesia, particularly NTB, proud.
