Yuliot Inaugurated as Deputy Minister of Investment

According to reporting from Antara News, President Jokowi inaugurated the former deputy of investment climate development at the Ministry of Investment, Yuliot, as the new Deputy Minister of Investment on Thursday (18/7/24) along with new Deputy Minister II of Finance, Thomas Djiwandono and Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Sudaryono.

The inauguration was carried out in line with Presidential Decree Number 45 M of 2024 on Discharge and Appointment of Deputy Ministers of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet for the 2019-2024 period.

At the inauguration ceremony, Yuliot and the two other new deputy ministers took the oath of office, guided by President Jokowi.

“In the name of God, I pledge that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution and carry out all applicable laws for the sake of my devotion and service to the nation and country,” he remarked while taking his oath.

He promised to fulfill his office duties, uphold ethics, and do his best with a full sense of responsibility.

Regarding his new position, Yuliot affirmed that he will strive to achieve the investment target until the end of President Jokowi’s government term, reports Antara News, adding that he also vouched to help ensure that investment activities from President Jokowi’s government term would continue in President-elect Prabowo Subianto’s government tenure.

“That way, the targets for growth and economic indicators, especially investment, can be achieved,” he said.

In addition to serving as deputy of investment climate development, Yuliot earlier served as deputy of investment implementation control at the Ministry of Investment.
