Kelingking Listed in Best of the Best Beaches

Nusa Penida’s Kelingking Beach has been listed among the Best of the Best Beaches in 2023 according to Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Award. Ranked at number 16, Kelingking Beach got 4.5 out of five stars from 1,587 reviewers, according to reporting from Tempo.

Each winner has passed rigorous trust and safety standards, with fewer than one percent of TripAdvisor’s 8-million listings awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in travel.

Tempo says that the top three spots are taken by Brazil’s Baia do Sancho Beach, Aruba’s Eagle Beach, and Australia’s Cable Beach.

One of the reviews called Kelingking Beach “picture perfect,” “instagrammable,” and “super worth the bumpy ride” that it took to get there.

Another recent review said the beach was a “high-class service for a good price around these parts of the world, and the people are super friendly too, so we have enjoyed it immensely.”

With steep cliffs offering a panoramic view, visitors must descend a 150-meter cliff to reach the beach, which is quite a struggle given the 70-degree slope, say Tempo, adding that apart from relaxing on the beach, visitors can also snorkel and see manta rays which are usually found in abundance between July and October every year.
