Batik Air to Open New Bali-Adelaide Route

According to reporting Tempo, Indonesian low-cost carrier Batik Air, part of the Lion Group, will launch a new direct flight route between Bali and Adelaide, Australia starting on November 10, 2023.

“This flight will be operated by using a Boeing 737-800NG aircraft with 12-business class and 150-economy class seats,” the airline’s spokesperson Danang Mandala Prihantoro said in a press statement on Friday (27/10/23.)

Danang said the new route will make it easier for business people and tourists from all over Indonesia to explore Bali and continue their adventure directly to Adelaide. “The main advantage of the Bali – Adelaide – Bali route is better connectivity between various cities in Indonesia and Adelaide,” adding that it also provides better connectivity and flexibility in travel trips for business people. As for foreign tourists, the route opens the door for them to explore the beauty of Bali, say Tempo.

Danang also said tourists from Australia can continue their journey to various other interesting destinations to explore Indonesia’s cultural and natural diversity, such as Labuan Bajo, Lombok, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Makassar, Manado, and many more.
