In five years I have had at least five different modems in one location.

    Thanks Mugwump, useful information again.

I'll read up a bit on Negara, sounds like it could be the ideal place for me.

Bars not essential, I'm happy to buy from the supermarket and hang out with the locals in the evening. Internet is essential for me as it provides my income.

I'll PM you when I've reached my 10 post limit before pm ;)

Actually 3G modem sticks recently work in Negara better than in Nusa Dua, is it cause Java is nearer or cause not so many people online?

I was living for 3 years in Negara (and still have a house there) if there are any questions...?

No - that is not likely.
or cause not so many people online?
Yes - that may be an answer. If at Nusa Dua you connecting to a tower that has lots of computer or smartphone users, then the traffic they are all generating may slow you down. Around Negara more of the users may be doing just phone calls and SMS and not using the 3G data services.

tintin must be an aussie , and aussies never use the the word " butt" unless refering to the end of a ciggarette or a rifle , and never use the word "ass" unless refering to a donkey . We know exactly what you mean tintin

Living here in Egypt I can confirm that there are NOT any towns called buttfuck, bumfuck, bamfouk or any combination of the above.

The term was coined my military serving in Egypt, to mean "in the middle of nowhere".

Take a trip out into the desert here and you'll see what they mean ;)
