    Default Greetings everyone! Newbie expat and member living in Ubud.

    As of last week I am a new resident in Ubud, Bali. I moved over here with my girlfriend into a nice quite place off of Jalan Lungsiakan. She's working at a US NGO based here in Ubud. I, on the other hand, moved here on 3 months notice with no real connections or friends. For a majority of my time here, I've been keeping to myself and trying to learn the language as quickly as possible. Not like that's a bad thing. I get to catch up on reading and research.

    Well I look forward to joining the site and I hope to develop some great friendships.

    There are a few other forum members living in Ubud who I am sure would be happy to meet up for a drink or 2.
