Somebody told me theres a world recession going on but people who had money still have the money and are still buying.

This is an old thread but relevant today with the world economic crisis. What I hear from people with property to sell is that prospects are not buying. People still have the money to come here as tourists but with the economy in its current shape they are afraid to put down a big chunk of money to buy a property.

I've actually heard recently that estate agents are doing great business - not boom times but good steady sales.

Go figure?
