Default IMB: Required distance from high water mark

A little while ago we had a discussion about the required distance from the high water mark for building permanant structures (buildings that require a building permit, IMB)

While some publications say its 50-100m, this maybe so in areas where there are no specific rules.

Its time to set the record straigth and put the suspicion that has fallen on to bonafide Balinese / Foreign builders and owners in perspective.

Official allowed distances can be as close as 5m to the high water mark.

Some samples (from the official brochure for getting an IMB):

    In Lovina, Temukus, 25-50m
    Lovina, Pemaron, 10-15m
    Lovina, Tukad Mungga, 5-10m
    Lovina, Anturan, 5-10m
    Lovina, Kalibukbuk, 25-50m

    East Buleleng:

    Desa Tembok, Penuktukan, Sambirenteng, 25-50m
    That's It !!
