Does anyone have experience with these guys? They have a nice shop on Sunset Road with a very inviting pol in front. Their pools are not the regular concrete with tile pools but a casing, filed with concrete and steel and then a plastic sheet layed inside to keep the entire thing water proof. Advantages according to them is that the structure is flexible and more resistant to cracks than a concrete pool. THe other thing is that there are no holes for lights and hoses in the entire pool so less chances on leaking.
THe pump is installed inside the pool which seems to be a downside to me although the only one.
The pool in front of their show room (8 x 4 m) comes at 150 juta complete with pump, vacuum and installation.
Do we have any pool experts on this forum ;) Anyone who has put a pool recently and wants to share his experiences?
Thanks!

I have a friend in Australia with a pool that has a liner inside & it always leaks. I have a concrete shell pool & never had any leaks from the light or shell. As for the pump in the pool water you need to take a look at Indonesian elect works, I wouldn't liked to be fried in my own pool.Last pool I had built in Australia cost 12,000.00aud including sand filter & chlorinating, light.
I know Indonesian builders do there pool building construction a lot different then the west but I through it would be cheaper, just the cost of the pump & filter was the big cost. have fun & keep the water cool![]()
Thanks Fred
Will definitely do some further research.
We have a regular concrete/tile pool and so far have never had problem with leaks, but fairly constant problems with the pump filter and the light in the pool. So I agree with Fred that electrical problems are probably a bigger concern.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat drinking beer all day.
yeah, 8x4 @ 150jt is a pretty expensive pool imho.
a ballpark estimate for a 'normal' pool (not casing and not saltwater) including balancingtank (overflowpool), pump, sandfilter, lights12V ;) -+3,5jt per square meter.
so that would be -+112jt.
the pump inside, doesn't sound very appealing to me too, for exactly the same reason as fred mentions.
I have no idea, because I have never swam in a pool with the pump inside it, but am wondering about noise from the pump.
and how is the water filtered, is the filter also inside the pool?
don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)
Thanks Gilbert. I have done some further research and also noticed that the 150jta is expensive. The pump at their show room is half inside, half outside and sitting on the ledge. The noise was very quiet in low gear and noticeable in high gear. When in high gear, you can use the current from the water to swim against while actually staying stationary.
The filter is in the pump which is a downside I thing as the intake / skimmer is less than half a meter away from where the water exits so I don't know if the water circulates enough to go through the pump or if its always the same water going through.
Having said that, their pool looked very clean.
Will most likely be putting a concrete pool :)
