Lanai restaurant bar & grille is a beachfront alfresco dining establishment popular with tourists and expats alike, situated on the busy vibrant Seminyak beach area of Bali.

Featuring a unique menu that reflects the broad local and international market and influences, Lanai has built a superior reputation for its cuisine and service, with its original menu and fresh locally sourced ingredients.

The successful applicant must have the necessary qualifications with at least 2-5 yrs experience, and will head up a fully trained hard working team.
Knowledge of Indonesian /western cuisine and language skills would be an added advantage.

This position is inclusive of work visa and accommodation, and ready for immediate start.

In the role of Executive Head Chef your responsibilities will include:
• Helping to direct, control and coordinate the activities of junior chefs and kitchen attendants engaged in preparing and cooking food, to ensure an efficient, profitable and smooth food service at all times.
• Producing and checking cooking and presentation of food.
• Monitoring kitchen operating costs and taking corrective action when necessary to reduce expenses.
Salary: AUD$3000/month

Hi when did you last visit our restaurant? We've just introduced some tasty new additions to the menu, and things are running really well now that we have Adya managing the floor....high season at the moment so its regularly packed! Which of the dishes did you try?
Anyway, as per the add I posted, theres now a great position available for a western chef to work full time at Lanai, so if anyone knows of someone that may be suitable please pass the word!

it was last year that we visited lanai , we really enjoyed the cesar salad....., the rest of the food is really good too , if the quality of the food stays the same we will come back again and again, greeting from holland
