Looking for 2 small fridges for guest rooms
Hi everyone, we are moving to Bali in Dec and looking for 2 very small fridges to place in each room of our guest rooms (mini bar style or smaller)
Please let me know if anyone has some or where I could buy second hand or new ones, Also does anyone know where to get kitchen stuff ie plates cups ect
We will be living in Umalas
Bar fridges are very expensive here, even second-hand. We looked for 3 months or more and couldn't find any reasonably priced second-hand ones.
Eventually, we bought new fridges, Toshiba brand, about 1 metre high by 55cm wide. They were Rp1.3 million each from an electrical shop in Denpasar.
China ware, cutlery, etc is available at Lotte Mart, which is on the bypass going towards Sanur. They sell plain white plates, cups, bowls, etc by the kilo.
Good luck with trying to buy table knives, though. In my experience, most places only sell spoons and forks. I bought a load of knives in Sydney last time I was there.
plenty of table knives, butter knives or steak knives, or complete cutlery sets, - in the furniture store upstairs from Ace Hardware in Galeria.
i went to Macro originally, but they were garbage.
Do not buy a small fridge. They cost about 900,000. A decent size fridge will cost you as little as 2,000,000.
Tourists love it when they walk in to your rooms and see a decent size fridge.
It is the same as a TV and a DVD player, they cost next to nothing. Put them in your rooms.
The money will come back so quickly you will be astounded.
I must agree with Matsaleh and Hinakos, a decent knife would be a great find.
