Hello, this is my first post, so I hope I am in the correct place. My wife, 4 year old daughter and I are planning to come to Bali around Oct. of this year and we plan to stay for at least 1 year. Sort of a trial for permanant living. On our last visit we stayed outside of Ubud and found a small school (Pelangi) that we liked. I was trying to find other options and ran across the Kul Kul (Green School), and it looks amazing. If the cost on the website are correct, the school it out of our price range. Is there another option? Is $8,000 US the going rate for a pre-k international school?

Hi Stephan, and welcome to the forum. Each of our three boys attend the Bali Hati School which is just outside Ubud in Mas. We are very satisfied with the curriculum and the teachers. The tuition is also very reasonable. The mix of students is excellent, comprising of pure Indonesian, mixed Indo/Western, and pure Western.

Currently the school only runs through grade 6, although plans for a middle school are well in the works.
