Because of mornings like this....
Checked the skies at 5.30am, zipped down to Serangen Harbour to play on the mud banks....

This style of processing is called HDR or High Dynamic Range. It's my attempt to equalize the light levels between the gamut of highlights and shadows by tone mapping the channels. Makes it look kinda funky and not everyone's cup of tea. For me the image is still there, this is just another way of putting across an artistic vision of the scene.
Cheers,
Mark.
PS I deliberately softened the image to avoid erroneous use, never know who's watching...

Mark, I can't see the image.... Is it just me? I enjoy your photos and this one sounds interesting.

Hmmm, strange. I can see it there, I click and it zooms out in the middle of the screen.
Anyone else not getting this image to show?
Cheers,
Mark.

Nice shot!, do you use photomatix for the HDR?

Hi Purwa,
Yes, correct, Photomatix Pro for the Tone Mapping and then I take it back into Photoshop for the post processing.
Cheers,
Mark.
