    Default Unlocking Telstra prepaid

My phone was a Melbourne Cup casualty (don't ask) but I have found an old Telstra prepaid around the place that seems to work ok, except, of course, it's locked to Telstra and is not happy with an XL sim.

Am I right in thinking that any of those places that have 'unlock phones' advertised on the outside will be able to unlock this or is it more complicated than this?

    cheers, Phil

Yes, your phone can be unlocked by one of those places you mentioned. They will charge you anywhere between Rp100.000 to 250.000 to do it. Suggest you shop around first.

There is a cellphone toko in Denpasar just past the flower market on your way from the pasar area and before Tiara Dewata. It is on the right side of the street before the bridge. The guy charges 20,000. ----far less than Rimo. Good luck!

Beautiful - thanks for the tip. Balipod, as usual, to the rescue.
