Thread: How was the Quake?

Funny you ask Bert. Two of my children felt it at school and said that the whole school went into a panic. Two others didn't feel it at all. My wife and I didn't feel it at home which is only a few hundred yards from school, and we didn't notice anything unusual with the animals. We did pick up a crack in the shower floor somewhere however. Was there something in the news? I've been busy with school work and all the Independence Day activities here.

i read the quake in sumbawa was only a 5.3 so there shouldn't have been any substantial damage, unless it was a long quake with tremors for several minutes. ..on another notice, there was a big 7.2 quake of the coast of honshu, japan a few hours ago.
