Thread: A new Temple : Pura Baru

Well, yesterday was a good day to erect the temple I bought a few weeks ago. And so it was.

Ha, thats the Balinese Version of "Manneke Pies" in Brussels...

Dewi likes it very much (and the fish, I suppose), costed 3 dollar, excluding the aquarium pomp to get him going.

Since his (internal) organs were a bit too small, the poor yellow baby has a garden hose attached :roll:

You can buy it anywhere in Denpasar...

Cool addition. And as part of your daily offerings, will you include dressing up your "Manneke Pies" with a different costume each day, as they do in Brussels? :)

Well,

I must say that Dewi had some concern about the little guy's health, so we may consider it.

But today we had the garden replanted with "Rumput Jepang", at about 40.000 per sqm (incl transport etc, small garden) and for now he seems happy enough with with that.

And I gave my father in law our old fridge in exchange for planting the grass, we needed a bigger freezer, so he is happy too, never had a fridge before.

Maybe my father in law is an extra happy man ;)
