You're right! But I didn't buy it new. I was the second owner - it was between 18-24 months old when I got it and previously very well maintained. So, the box is 16 years old and I've been driving it for about 14 years.

Great comments. I am always amazed at the ancient cars still being driven. Having access to a good mechanic that charges at a local rate and the reasonable price of parts for the more common models are advantages I have never had in the US. If there is a complaint it is having to wait for parts from Jakarta as local dealers never have any inventory on hand.

If you look at the dates of the posts you would realise this site is hardly used.If there are three new cars a week it is much.
The only site i have found so far that is regularly used by bali sellers is KapanLagi.com.At first it seems not very practical,but you can search with a lot of choices if you click the button"pencarian detail".You can also search in east java,mostly Surabaya and Malang,where a lot of cars are for sale.
Remember that you can NOT change the licenseplates to balinese ones for cars older than ten years.
www.mobil123.com has the same functionality,but is not used so much by people from bali.it is very practical to compare prices and see what is for sale in Jakarta and Surabaya.And the site obliges the poster to fill in the km.s,wich is a good thing.
