    I doubt you would get an unofficial licence for 20 US dollars.

    As far as I know...its not possible to get a SIM without a KITAS.
    It cost me 200K (thru an agent) to get a SIM (for car and 2 wheeler) with a KITAS in Jakarta. I would suggest no one to take this path...as you could land into big problems.

    people on a sosbud can get a indonesian drivers-license with a validity of 30 days, and extend every 30 days after that. oh yeah..and it's completely legal :)
    don't read between the lines..i think the words are clear enough...:)

    it´s realy a good price 1.8 juta /month incl. insurance. I´d like to know your rental ... than from Octubre this year i will rent a car for long term too (6 months every year). last year i rent -xenia- for 3 juta/month incl. insurance.
