Default What does this phrase mean?

I been seeing this phrase in various property/rental adverts----"over contract": It's not a phrase used here in the US. Must be one of those Brit/Ausi things.

It means someone has a paid up lease on the property and wants out of it. So they are wanting to sell the "remainder" and in the case of a shop it includes the fitout/fixtures

Just be very careful after the lease is over, you gotta ask for the next upcoming price for the property
