    Jorgen

I think for this age you have to go to a local school, Bali International School: http://www.bis.com or Australian Int School. They both have prices on their websites, I think.

If you want a school which is a local school with international influence, look at the one in Sanur, but can't remember what it's called at the moment. It's much cheaper than normal international schools. I'm also looking at this school when in Bali for my little one.

Will let you know once I can remember the name of it. Or go into my previous posts, I may have mentioned it before? (I think they cater for the older children too)

    Hi Jorgen,

My eldest (4) goes to DoReMe near Sanur. In total it costs around Rp15-18million per year in all. Payable in bits and pieces i.e. yearly fee Rp6million, monthly fees, books, uniforms etc etc.

I rate it as a good school and many nationalities are there with a wide and diverse curriculum (based on Australian)

There are quite a few to choose from now in Bali but for older children (11 up) I think choices are more limited for an International school. DoReMe have just opened their 'seconday' age school

    Hope this helps

Ma’af, ma’af...sorry, sorry. I guess I should be one to offer first hand advice on this topic, but to be honest, it pains me to think of the expense we go through educating our three boys. Education represents the highest monthly cost of living for the vast majority of expats with children. If you search on this site, you will find all the ugly details.

While I may sound like I am complaining...and I am...it’s still worth it, without doubt.
